As a childcare professional, you are shaping the future. The care and education you provide our children will benefit the community for years to come. To assist you in this process, The University of Alabama has partnered with the community college system to offer two flexible and convenient bachelor’s degree completion programs. These programs are designed to meet your needs as a working professional. Courses are offered through a combination of formats, including videotape, videoconference, online, and summer institutes.

Depending on your situation, you may consider the Early Child Development Concentration, which is open to all professionals in this field, or the Child Development Practitioner Concentration, which is limited to those working at Head Start agencies.
